Queen Lili'uokalani, 1838 - 1917 Last reigning Monarch of the Hawai'ian Dynasty This portrait which is under the clock, was donated by the George Awai Family, 1976 North Shore of O'ahu, Hawai'i
This wonderful and unique clock is on the wall next to the entrance of the church. Queen Liliuokalani attended Rev. Emerson's services with enough regularity that she gifted the church with a most unusual clock in January 1892. Of the clock's seven dials, the main one tells the time using the 12 letters of the queen's name rather than numbers. Other dials show phases of the moon, months of the year, leap years, days of the month, days of the week and weeks of the year North Shore of O'ahu, Hawai'i
