Waimea Bay View from the Bluff above You can see the Kam Hwy winding through. Directly under where I shot this photo, a rock slide closed the road down for a few days. When the Kam Hwy is closed because of a rockslide, or more likely huge waves, anyone wanting to go to and from the North Shore, has to go all the way around the Windward side of the island, a Major Detour.
