A young Layson Albatross remains land-bound for 6 months. The albatross builds its nest in the ground vegetation. Unfortunately I didn't have my big ol' lens 'cause of its weight. Because of the fence, I couldn't get any closer. Even though these fences are easily penetrated, one should respect the wildlife and stay on the path, and not go within the fenced area.
